Hello everyone, my name is Megan Martin, and I am the proud K-5 teacher at
Brilliant Minds Academy School Of The Arts.
“As an educator, we provide the necessary knowledge and tools to teach our students the basic
needs in life. I have been working in the education field for 5
plus years. I have started out becoming a substitute teacher back in 2020 when the pandemic hit.
I knew in that moment, that I wanted to become a wonderful educator to all elementary school
students. Now, on this new journey of being a teacher throughout the 2023-2024 school year that
I would love to continue to teach so many Brilliant Minds and to see my students succeed.”
Meet Mr. Wislee K. Fils-Aime: Middle-Highschool Teacher

Born and raised in South Florida to Haitian parents.
I have nearly ten years of experience as a teacher and five years working with at-risk youth as a Youth Development Specialist.
I am also a leader within the community as the current Youth Operations Director at Full Gospel Assembly in the heart of Miami, Florida.

Meet Ms. Whitney McFadden Secretary / Administrator
Welcome Everyone, I have over 10 years’ experience in customer service and clerical work. I specialize in Business, Journalism, Performing Arts, individual and business taxes. I am also a Certified Notary. CPR certified. Knowledge in Health Science. I am fluent in English. Intermediate in ASL (American Sign Language). Familiar with Spanish and Creole. I have been working with youths for over 5 years, bringing out their creativity, managing social media accounts, including but not limited to Nonprofit Organization TRW Kids INC. Teaching Reading Worldwide Inc. Emphasizing on reading from ages 0-19 within the community. Reading promotes success and success signifies a brighter future for the kids. That is my main goal and mission. I adore working with students and want nothing but the best for them.
Meet Ms. Essence Belton, FLVS Facilitator / Florida Virtual School
Hello Students, Iam here to assist you all with your FLVS needs, via online/ person. I have experience in the Health Science field. I also have great experience and knowledge of what privileges FLVS can up-hold for the use of obtaining credits and requirements to graduate. I used it myself as a student, which makes it very familiar and easier to relate. I know the importance of education and enjoy helping the students. I am very much a people’s person and work well with kids. I graduated from Dillard High School in Ft. Lauderdale,FL. I am currently attending Broward College to further my education in Early Childhood. I am excited to meet you all….
